AI 융합이 강조됨에 따라 기업의 AI 도입·활용 촉진 및 성과 제고를 위한 정책 개발·추진이 활발하게 이루어지고 있으나, 실제 AI 기술을 도입·활용 중인 국내 기업(즉, AI 도입기업)들을 조사·분석한 객관적 자료는 부족한 실정이다.
본 연구에서는 첫째, AI 기술을 도입·활용하는 주요 산업분야를 제시한 국내·외 문헌을 종합적으로 검토하여 ‘주요 AI 활용산업’을 선정하였다. 둘째, 주요 AI 활용산업에 속한 국내 AI 도입기업을 대상으로 AI 기술 도입·활용 현황 및 성과에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 셋째, 설문조사 결과를 토대로 우리나라 AI 융합 확산 관련 정책적 시사점을 도출하였다.
Executive Summary
As AI convergence is emphasized, policy development and promotion are being actively pursued to promote the introduction and use of AI by companies and to improve performance.
However, there are few research on companies adopting AI. In this study, we first reviewed literature and selected major AI-utilization industries. Second, we conducted a survey on the current status and performance of Korean companies adopting AI within the selected industries.
Finally, based on the survey results, policy implications related to the diffusion of AI convergence in Korea were derived.
